Hello,
I am trying to convert old home movies. I bought an ADVC-50 to convert the analog and I have downloaded scenalyzer to help catch the DV stream. My problem is that almost every time I try to capture, I can get video but no audio. The line of text below the preview window will say NTSC 4:3 0Khz. It is almost like there is no audio stream, I have replaced the cords, tried new tapes, and have tried to tinker with settings. I have gotten it to work once or twice (having both audio and video), but only once or twice (then the line reads NTSC 4:3 48Khz. I have an idea that it is software (codec) related. Can anyone help?
Thanks
