  1. When I use the tmpgenc wizard, select files etc, then go to the bit to select bitrates & media, the calculated file size is always waaaaaaay to big to fit on a dvd. Anyone else have this problem?

  2. Two possibilities I can think of here:

    1) TmpGenc wizard is crap and calculates file size incorrectly (Don't know if this is the case as I never use the wizard)

    2) Your source avi has VBR audio. This is know to cause TmpGenc problems with encoding and especially with calculating the length of the video. The solution is to extract the audio to uncompressed PCM using either virtualdub or in this case I prefer goldwave, and using that as the audio source during the encode.

    Hope this helps.
