Hi,
I got this Pioneer 525 DVD player, it plays most VCD.CVD and SVCD that I burn in it but I don`t get a time counter when playing the disc`s. But when I made a compilation VCD with loads of short mpeg files, as I was testing what worked best, I got a time counter. I haven`t had it again since. It didn`t come up when I first played the cd only after I had skipped a few tracks and gone back.
Thanks in advance if anyone can help.

After you put in the cd,don't use the PLAY button, instead use the NEXT/SKIP button (>>) either on the player or your remote.

After you put in the cd,don't use the PLAY button, instead use the
"SEARCH" mode on your remote and start the time searchwith a ## like
00:01 so you play the cd at 1 second
I think this apply to all Pioneer player

Thanks mike that works, I have noticed that if you search thru a VCD sometimes the audio will drop when you press play again.
