i am still having difficulty - lowering the bit rate does not reduce my file size in any way... my 4 minute capture is still 37M as a mpg and this is the same for any bit rate setting or resoloution....
need some guidance
using premiere 6 to capture and tmpmpg to convert to mpg.
i have unlocked the setting within tmpmpg and fiddled but with no great success....
need help......![]()

In TMPGEnc under settings, select the system tab and make sure stream type is set to mpeg1 video CD (non standard)
