  1. I don't know where to go with this, mainly because I don't know anything about Digital Video Cameras. I am looking for a good digital video camera that is stop-frame capable. Price doesn't really matter. up to $1500. The cam will be used mostly for clay animation movies.
    Thanks in advance.

  2. I would also like to see a forum subject on video cameras.

Most cameras they discuss seem a bit to high-end for me, however. Maybe someone here would share their experiences.
    Hope this helps

Here is an option you may not have thought about:

Most of the good computer based video editing softwares will let you make a movie from individual still pictures. So you could buy a really nice digital still camera, and then have a much higher quality end product, at the frame rate of your choice.

The only downside of this method is the pain of arranging thousands of still pictures into the correct order.

It might also be much cheaper too, which would leave money for things like a DVD burner, and good editor software.
Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they?
