    Hi , I bought here in germany a Samsung DVD Player , I dont know the actall model # now , but I think , my question is quite generall ! My DVD Player has a Region Free Crack and plays quite good ! Yet I cant see Movies that i Burn on a CD on my Laptop ! I think I can only see DVDs and play Mp3 or normal Music Cds on it ! Is it actually possible to hack it somehow or to install a software on it , sow I can see the Movies I burned ??
    I am getting bored of always having to plug my Laptop to the TV just to view those movies I have burned.
    Hope someone can help me out here

    How have you actually burned these movies. Have you authored them as VCD. You cannot just burn an mpeg file onto a data CD and play it in your DVD player, if indeed they are mpeg's

    I burned the movies as Data , thats true , the problem is that I have the Easy CD Creator Platinum Version , and it only allows me to burn movies to VCDs that are mpeg , yet the movies I download from the internet are most oft the Times .avi ! And to be hones I am not a real computer expert , I found once a software to change mpeg to avi but not the other way round, thats why I always burn them as Data
    Could u give me another Tipp , what I can do in this case ?

    Check out the guides to the left. This one tells you how to convert .avi, etc. to VCD mpg to be burned by Easy CD Creator or Nero. http://www.vcdhelp.com/tmpgenc.htm
