I am new to this myself but have done plenty of reading etc. From what I understand the 104/A04 write in 'General' format which means that a DVD written on the Pioneer should work in MOST players

Hi there,
the compabilty list states the Thomson DTH-4200 reads DVD-R, but no DVD-RW. Is that the latest bit of information? Any further comments?
Thx,
