  3. Yes you can do it with this program, and yes it is easy. Make sure that you read through the conversion guides first before asking. But like me, you probably missed it, so here we go...

    1. open tmpg and close the "project wizard."

    2. go to file and go down to "mpg tools."

    3. the "mpg tools" menu will pop up. Make sure that you have the imple multiplex" tab checked and under "type" pick the file type you want to split.

    4. now click on the "merge & cut" tab and then hit "add". Here you will find the file you want to split and double click on it.

    5. when the file is loaded up double click on it and the " edit merge item" box will appear. Drag the bar at the bottom to where you want the file to start (if you want the same spot it is then do not move it) and click on the "{" on the bottom right of the box. Drag the bar to the splitting point and click on the "}". When done click "ok".

    6. Go to the output at the bottom of the "edit merge item" box and pick where you want the file to be saved at. The process should not take that long and then go back and do it for the other parts you want to have split.
