    Hello,
Captured to MPEG2 high setting with neodvd 4.Followed instructions to convert to SVCD with TMPGENC and succeed often. However sometimes tmpgenc freezes at certain places in the encoding part and the fixes regarding enviroment settings and wav do not always work. I looked to repair the MPEG2 and tried MPEG Corrector but when I feed in the results to tmpgenc I get "illegal mpeg stream". Are there any other ways of repairing? . I have seen about remuxing and using the resulting as new mpg?
    Thanks
PS Tried iuVCR as a way of capturing to avi and got poor quality capture/preview (like playing a very worn vhs tape). Any ideas as I am looking to find/deal with bad frames other than using Vdub due to WDR drivers and win 98?
PPS neodvd blurb says captures to avi, mpeg 1 and 2. So where`s the avi??

The Program does not produce proper MPEG headers. I did run into similar problems before.I hated this program.I will never use it again
