  1. This forum would probably be best suited for this question, although it is a two fold quetsion. I posted earlier when I try to rip some movies, every once in a while won't fully rip. I ripped a file at a time until I found the bad file, but I guess it wasn't the disk contents, but rather the disk, because I just borrowed a friends disk of the same movie to make a "backup" .....for him, of course, hhhummm,.... anyway, it ripped perfectly. My question is now that I know it must be a scratch or something on the disk, has anyone ever had this problem? I am assuming it has had to happen to several people, so I would appreciate if they would tell me what they did to resolve it. Has anyone every tried those DVD cleaning solutions/creams? I have never believed those work, I only use CD Wipes to wipe the DVD, but does anyone know if any of that stuff really works, and more specifically, would any of that stuff work on fixing one of the DVD's I will rip in the future that will experience that problem. If anyone can add any info or help me out on this I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance!
