I've been reding about the coming BlueLaser and what I've seen indicates that BlueLaser DVD's will require a caddy or some kind of cartridge? Is this true?? If true how do you make the player backward compatible with current DVD disks?

Blue-Ray will be comming in some blue cartriges but still, manufacturers will find a way.
If you go to an electronics store, some of the new DVD players have a DVD/VHS combo in one unit, I was about to buy one but that brand wasn't SVCD compatible.
