  1. i just reimaged my computer and was trying to load a mpeg2 file in tmpgenc and couldnt get it to load.it kept saying file unsuported.i've d/l the nemo codec pack and the mpeg2 codec off of the tools page and no luck so far.anyone no where to d/l a mpeg2 codec that will work?

    Remember this solution:
    If you get an error message when opening the video or audio like file unsupported
    or you get an empty(black) video preview window
    or the video look wierd in the video preview window like green or purple or pink
    Be sure that you have installed the DivX Codecs (both DivX 3.11, 4 and 5) and also try with the Nimo Codec Pack. If that does not work try to change the codec reader settings in TMPGEnc under Option->Environmental settings->VFAPI plug-in and right click on the DirectShow Multimedia File Reader and increase the priority to 1 or 2 and try open the video.

    the mpeg2 codec off the tools page is unsupported in latest versions of tmpgenc .. you need either of the following : ligos player or powerdvd ....

    the elecard codec (also being unsupported) causes a lot of problems for tempgenc ...

    when you open a mpeg file -- increase the mpeg2 decoder in VFAPI to +2
    and DirectShow to +1

    or whatever works
