Hi all
I've been capturing TV shows and cutting out commercials to feed it to the media player using the the following simple avisynth script:
avisource("d:\shows.avi")
trim(0,111)+trim(333,444)+... etc
Can you help me out here to save this trimmed version to a new avi file, with out recompressing?
I can frame serve this to Virtualdub and and then do a full recompress.
Just wondering if there is a filter equivalent "Video stream copy" as in Virtualdub.
TIA

Not with AVISynth. You can do your cutting of the AVI in Virtual Dub and do a Direct Stream Copy (will not recompress), then combine the parts together afterwards.
