I have a 91 min avi file (divx) that I want to put over to VCD. When I converted the movie yesterday I got a 3GB file before I ended the conversion since I thought the program crashed. The preview screen were standing still at the exact point when the movies ends. It also reported that I needed 4 hours or so before it was done, 60% of the movie was done.
To my big surprise the movie was there, but no sound.
So I started again, just to check that it worked, and after a few minutes I stopped and checked the result, still no audio. TMPGenc also said that the conversion would take 5 hours.
In the preview screen, it tells how much time have elapsed, remaning and actual time of the movie.
What I had was 30 min of the actual movie, running for 40 minutes and 4.5 hours left. The file was 270mb at this point. I tried TMPGenc version 12a, 12c and 12f all with the same result. After this I tried a Simpsons episode, which was 21 min long, and that took 23 minutes to convert with audio.
I have converted other movies with TMPGenc 12a with sound and no problems.
What should I do? The movie plays perfectly in WMP with Kristal divx codecs, and it stops when it's suppose to.
Got no clue what to do, please help.
Should I let it finish, and then do something to fix the problem? I'm using the standard template for NTSC from TMPGenc. If it's AC3 sound, how do I find out if the movie is using AC3 sound?

Regards,

Lars
