  2. VCD is very limited when it comes to menus and chapters.

NERO would be the program to use.

When you select the different mpg1 files (create these with tmpgenc)
just put them all in the neros folder.

Each file will be the chapter, but do not forget to change the
5 second delay to 0 if you do NOT want a pause.

  3. I agree with tonyp12. Nero is the one of the best so far, you can also create a menu or a chapter selection. Simply create new Video CD compilation, dump in all your mpeg files into the compilation window, click "File -> Compilation Info -> Menu tab". From there you can set the number of thumbnails, background picture, fonts and sizes, header and footer and so on. Good Luck.

Yup, VCDEasy for sure. Beats Nero on every point, if you already have one or more VCD compliant (or XVCD "compliant") mpeg(s) as source. Nero can encode an AVI file to Mpeg, but Neros encoder sux anyway, and is pretty much useless, so you have to encode to mpeg before letting Nero do it's business, and from this point on in the VCD making process, VCDEasy rules.

PS! "Easiest to use" is very seldom equal to "best" - the opposite is muc more common! DS
