I was testing out the effects of applying some filters and got
a message that said the video would lag the audio because of
one of the filters. In my case I was using the 2d cleaner, temporal smoother & dynamic noise reduction.
How do I go about figuring out the amount of the video lag ?
This was a 480x480 capture at 29.97 fps.
I know that with 1000ms & 29.97 fps, each frame is about 33ms
and I know that there's an entry to enter a lagtime. So I need
some multiple of 33, but how to figure out the multiple?
There's a guide to use Tmpg and fix it there, but I was wondering what the approach is for in Vdub.
2nd question - and this may be a dumb one but
does applying filters work when doing the original capture?
Should filters only be applied once the capture is done and you're either frameserving to Tmpg or saving the file to another name?
If you have filters on when doing a capture and also when doing the frameserve are they being applied twice?
thanks
