  1. I want to convert an SVCD into a VCD. At first I could not start with the SVCD at all, file not supported. So I found that I needed the SVCD pluggin. Got that and now the SVCD Video will load to convert but not the audio. If I try to add the audio from the original SVCD file I get the error, file not supported. What did I miss?

You need to tell us what your trying to convert your MPEG with. What encoding software? What steps are you taking, etc...

  3. Oops, good point. I am using TMPGEnc. After searching for many hours I found that by installing FreeDVD Codec it seemed to solve my problem. I am still open to other ideas if there is something better that I may have overlooked.

Sounds like you have a new version of TMPGenc. It doesn't come with MPEG2 support. If you install WinDVD, or PowerDVD, they will also allow you to work around the problem. Even after their shareware license expires, the codecs will continue to work.
