  1. first of all thanks for your help those who replied to my last post it was appreciated.

    just a couple more questions.

    a) is there a way to get a 4:3 movie to fit the whole screen cause at the moment in tmpgenc i use full screen (keep aspect ratio 2) i've also tried the other full screen options but they don't seem to work.

    b) is there a way i can get rid of 16:9 borders as well? i know it might mean having a stretched picture but i just want to try some things out.

If anybody has any suggestions please let me know.

  2. not sure about Qa.But Qb to get rid of the black borders set the source to 16.9 ,no margins(keep aspect ratio) but then the writing seems to go off the sides.
You could also set the source to 4.3 full screen(keep aspect ratio),even though its a 16.9 movie,it will remove the bars but stretch the picture about.Only works with a 1.85:1 movie thoughif its a 2.35:1 movie u will still get some black bars. But not massive.
