Harts War Help....Need quick reply

Whn watching the harts war dvd,when the germans speak german english subs come up so u know what there saying,but when i rip it to my hard drive with smartripper thoughs subs aint there so when watching the svcd i wont know what the germans r saying.

How do i rip out them subs and incorarate them into the svcd.

can you say which part of the movie should have the subtitles, like what happened before and after?

YOU GOT 19 STREAMS? must be a uk dvd/pal?

i just took a look at my rip of region 1 of hart's war...the subtitles look to be hardcoded onto the video itself...i'm guessing that PAL must mean you're in another region...region 2??

anywayz, then you need to rip the subtitles manually using extra proggies...once you do, just find the correct subtitle stream (should be towards the end, since the closed captioned subtitle steams usually come before the forced captions subtitle streams...

Yeah its pal r2.Im in the uk.

See near the beginning in the geep,when that german shoots the american in the head,thay start speaking german then and english subs come up at the bottom so u know what there saying.

Maybe on the pal dvd the flags or something that tell the dvd player to turn the subs on and off when the germans speak.
