  1. I just recently reformatted my hard drive & I have tried Power DVD and also Smart Ripper & Windows media player after reformatting with no luck of playing or accepting to play a dvd.

My system is AMD 2100, 512 ddr ram & WIN XP (with service pack 1)
my DVD writer is a "Pioneer A03" & i live in Australia so my DVD is region 4 "PAL"

"POWER DVD" says : Error Code 8901000f
An internal error has occurred. in the "Detailed" section it only says "This error code is undefined".Contact powerdvd@gocyberlink.com. Please tell us how this internal error occurred in a detailed manner.

"Smart Ripper" tells me : No ASPI adapter available
then it goes on to say some files are still locked!

Win Media Player tells me : that i don't have a compatible DVD Decoder installed on my Pc

can anyone please help me out like possibly where to find the aspi adapter , which DVD decoder i need. How i may be able to resolve this problem, all help is apreciated. thank you in advance

You need to load the aspi layers for XP you can find them here
    http://www.dvd2svcd.org/xp-aspi.zip

if that link doesnt work they are located on the DVD2SVCD page
