It is an easy to use package with very high quality title and effects capability. The encoder is still the big drawback. For VCD and SVCD, it has ton's of artifacts, and no way to frameserve (ie avoid using the internal encoder).
If you are after simplicity, this is a pretty good package -
It is a very good entry-level package and is very intuitive to use. I use it for editing home movies - I tend to use TMPGEnc to convert my movies to SVCD since it gives me much better quality results than using Pinnacle's own encoder. You can purchase Studio 8 for £52 (if you're in the UK) from amazon.co.uk - there's currently free delivery if you purchase over £39.
Good luck.Mantisgeek -
