  1. Hi all,

I am facing major problems and I need your help because I have just wasted 4 blank dvd-r

First of all I must mention that the method I followed is the one I used to follow and I never had any problem (well in fact I am quite new in dvd burning and I have managed to burn/rip and strip 2 dvds successfully)

First of all I used dvddevryptor to rip the time machine.
I launched powerdvd and tried to play the files ripped.
it seems to play but there is no access to the menus.

I striped out the main movie and got rid of the unwanted tracks, subtitles.
Then I moved all the missing files in the new directory

then I needed to reencode the main movie
for that I used d2vavi and tmpgenc which generated a m2v file
I reopen ifoedit, loaded the ifo file which was stripped out and choose the remux option.

once it was finished I click get vts
So I have a new set of vob and ifo files
if I tried to play this files with power dvd, that's fine but I still don't have access to the menu.

I would appreciate if anybody could help me or guide me

you can directly from the main (original) dvd and burned copy.

have you burned it yet and tested it?
