The software such as Fairplay4Win needs me to obtain the DRM lic for the video before it will strip it out. Is there any software which will remove DRM without the lic' and re-recording the video or that will strip it from the original file?
I appreciate this is an odd way around but the aim is the same thing to have a video file at the end with no DRM.

If you don't own the video (=you don't have the license) you can't even claim Fair Use doing what you want. Buy it, get the license, use the tools that work with a license.
