In this MPEG video everytime i click for the video to go from 1 minute to like 14 minute it just pauses at the 14 minute mark after playing there for about 1 second. But if i leave the movie from the beginning it will go all the way through without any problems. This has happened quite a few times. Also...some of the times the audio keeps going but the video stops.
How can i fix this problem - i have scanned it with virtual dub to see if it has any bad frames but it reported none.
THANKS

What are the movie parameters (fps, bitrate, format, etc. etc.)
Did you encode it or is it downloaded? There may be missing info in the file to allow ff smoothly.Panasonic DMR-ES45VS, keep those discs a burnin' -
Does it do this no matter which player you use? Does it do this on any MPEG you try? I have seen this before personally as well as posted in these forums before.
If it does the same thing with other MPEG files and other players, I would suspect a video driver issue, you might want to update (or try to regress to an older driver, if you are comfortable doing this and have the newest drivers installed already)
Otherwise, I think you may have just gotten an MPEG that was created in an odd manner and exhibits this problem as a symptom of the creator's madness
Hope this helps,
Prospero
