My current hardware:
1G Duron
512 DDR RAM
80G 7200rpm HD.
a 1 hour 30minutes avi high quality DV to 420x420 mpeg2 SVCD converting by TMPGeng usually takes 5 hours.
TMPGeng setting: 2-pass vbr, normal-quality of motion-searching
I'm considerding to upgrade to 1800XP+ or 1900XP + but wonder how much time I can save.
what type of processor are you guys/girls using and how long will it take typically?
thanks
