how to make a vcd from.....

Hi all....

I have a pc with firewire card and a Sony TRV16E camera. The capture is ok only with ulead video studio inside firewall package but i've problem because he don't capture over 18 mins of movie. How i can solve this problem ? I try sw that have not problem of 18mins but he don't work with my camera... why ?

It is probably cause of the win 9x/me 4 GB file size limit.

Great pleasure !! the admin answer me but i know this problem and the solutions. The biggest for me is that using the sony trv16e the other programs i find on net (virtualdub etc.) don't work.... why ? he don't work with a firewire module ?

Firewire with a DV camera is not 'capture' in the usual sense of the word. The video is already in digital format, firewire is simply used to copy the data from the tape to your HD. Capture programs like virtualdub are designed to work with analog capture cards and convert the data to a useable digital format.

Have you tried the trial of http://scenalyzer.com/main.html ??? (added it to the faq also) If you find any other dv capture(copy) tools that supports this let me know.
