  1. Is there a simple setting for going from divx to vcd that works? Every time I have tried I get sound but the picture won't change (as though it's stuck). I am sure it isn't encoding all the file but only every 10th frame or whatever. This has happened with versions e and f . I just used the default.

  2. As stated in the release notes, the new builds in version e and f use new code for mpeg-1 encoding from the latest ffmpeg CVS, which unfortunately has still some issues and will play choppy. I'm working on a fix. Consider encoding to mpeg-2 SVCD until next release.

  3. The frame rate you are encoding to needs to be the same as the original DivX file.

Whoops, I forgot to mention that this also happened in previous versions as well. It's not only choppy but actually the video is frozen. A message below said to sync the framerates (divx and mpeg)...Isn't there a fixed framerate for vcd?
