Since the Bluesky 100 doesn't play sound with SVCD, I downloaded the firmware upgrade for the SEG Beverly Hills at www.veseg.be (the Bluesky is a clone).
After installing the firmware my dvd-player doesn't display the way it should: the picture looks like looking at a pay-tv channel without a decoder. This is the only way I can describe it. It's like there is a compatibilty-problem with the AV channel of the TV-set.
Does anyone know a way around this problem or how to get the factory settings back ("menu 7420" and "select" didn't do the trick)?

My problem has been solved: see http://www.vcdhelp.com/dvdplayershack.php?select=Centrum%20Libra, especially the paragraph about the VIDEO/dacoutput/{select 'inverted'}.
Great site.
