  1. I have ripped a few movies and played them on my A160 and all ok but half way through the movie the screen starts to get jerky and pixils go into squares ect.. I have moved my dvd player out from my entertainment unit where it is a lot cooler and this has helped but still does it... does not do it on originals at all.... anyone got any ideas..

    Thanks

  2. I had this trouble with VCDs when I first started out; the film would be alright for the first 35-40 minutes, but then would go into the state that you describe.

This was cured when I burned the VCD at a lower speed.

    Hope this helps.

  3. Burning at lower speed is usually not an option with DVDR
But changing brand of media is.
Symptoms, You describe are very typical with cheap/incompatible media. Some types have jerkyness at the beginning too. (Very cheap) media may varry from patch to patch too, but safest way is choosing another brand.
