I've been downloading some bis and pieces from various sources and have been dispointed in the quality.
I'm far from complaining but would like to set myself a quality level.
Is there a way to only download files of a certain quality?
I'm finding that by downloading DivX and coverting to mpeg using TMPGEnc gives very poor quality, and whilst I've been in the dvd>vcd etc. game for a little while now and don't expect superb quality, I'd like to download files that are at least decent.
Thanks,
Will

If you want to dl quality goods, then stay away from the p2p programs. You can find much better quality rips available on mirc and newsgroups. You know what you are downloading, its not something that has been converted by some idiot ass group, you can download a sample of the rip, then make your choice. So if you are serious about the better quality rips, learn newsgroups or mirc, simple as pie.

thers one group on there who do rips of a semi reasonable std but spoil it by sticking their logo across about the bottom third of the film. Some of the stuff on their is reasonable tho. what mirc channels and/or NGs ???
They all seem to have 399kb files attach whats all that about?Corned beef is now made to a higher standard than at any time in history.
The electronic components of the power part adopted a lot of Rubycons.
