Morning people, sometimes after encoding an mpeg with TMPGEnc (as a vcd/svcd) when I get ready to burn it Nero tells me it is not encoded properly and gives me the option to encode or ignore. Should I trust that TMP has done its job properly or take the time to have Nero re-encode what I've already done? Any one else come across this? Is it fairly common? Thanks so much, great forum!![]()

Do not let Nero reencode as it is generally known the quality is poor when this happens.
Try two things:
1) Make sure TMPGenc settings are pure - you're using a standard TMPGenc template?
2) If #1 is ok uncheck Make Compliant Disk in Nero - sometimes Nero just seems to hate something in the file - this may help but you'll have to check in your player when done if the disc plays fine.Panasonic DMR-ES45VS, keep those discs a burnin' -
yea don't let nero re encode it most of the time it's not because of the picture that nero wants to reencode it it's because of the sound

Yes, using the standard template. Guess that settles it, thanks for your speedy replies, will certainly save some time. Now, how can I get more hours in the day to do this stuff, this is great fun! Thanks again.
