i installed the writer and did a burn to the provided dvd+rw and all worked fine. When i tried to look at the contents of the disk, the writer wouldnt read it.

I have since tried several different disks dvd and cd originals, and burnt disks and the writer wont read or write anything, just keeps saying either no media or invalid media.

Is my writer dead already, or could it be something else?
