I just got a DVD player, but only burned stuff on DVD-R's in the DATA mode - like just files. Anyways, my friend wanted a movie I had (Ninja Scroll) so I burnt him a copy so he could see it. Everything went fine [burn process-wise]. However, when I tried to play it - all it shows is the FBI WARNING and the MANGA VIDEO Intro. Then it just stops like it can't read anything else on the disc. It doesn't show the menu or nothing. Just stops after manga video part.

So - I don't know whats going on... however, i think maybe it might have something to do with region codes or something? is this true? if it is - can u explain it for me? thanks so much
