    Hello everyone, I am trying to play VCD on toshiba 2109 but having no luck due to the fact it says it does not read them, I have been told that it will work with certain branded cdr`s but don`t know which one OR is there any hardware crack to make it play them

    Hi,
    I too have a Toshiba 2109 and cannot get any CDR's or CD/RW's to work. I have tried CDR; Verbatim, Memorex and Sirius so far. For the CD/RW; Verbatim and Yamaha.
    I used Nero to convert mpeg to VCD. Plays the VCD fine on the computer but not on Toshiba. Maybe I am doing something wrong. Not sure, since I am new to this. My one question is when using Nero after I drag mpeg over it lists as track 2. Could this be the problem? Does it have to have a track one as menu? I have looked thru the Author helps but cannot find a solution. Please help. TIA
