  1. Hi everybody,

since I'd like to use Windows Media Player 7.1 to play MPEG2 files on my Win2kPro PC, I've tried to install Nimo Codecs Pack but the files won't play with either Basic or Full installation option. More, with Full installtion, I always get a wmplayer.exe error.
Matter of facts, I can remember that I was able to play SVCD files sometimes ago. I don't know why I'm unable right now.

So I tried to install simply the Elecard decoder but, I don't know why, the files are played with wrong sizes (it seems a 16:9 movie played on a 4:3 TV).

Can you please help me out?

    Thank you in advance

  2. yeah, the elecard mpeg2 codec works, but you have to play your movies in full screen for them to look right.. and you have that annoying watermark in the upper right hand corner.

you might want to try using windvd or powerdvd to play your mpeg2's.. they play'em like champs.
