on doom 9 it says you can back up discs with seemless branching by removing the angle pointers, but is there a way to select a particular cut of the movie to backup? i would always want to back up the shorter version because there is a better chance of fitting it on 1 dvd-r. has anyone tried this with say, robocop? it's the dvd i am thinking of backing up and it has seemless branching. any ideas guys?

i backed up robocop, and the braching scenes with extra footage play first, then what seems to be the cut version of the film plays. weird.

IFOEDIT has a check box option to only keep 1 angle (and it lets you pick the angle) when stripping. Have you tried using that?

i know it has that option but it did'nt work. it said it was a 98 minute film. but when it reprocessed the vobs the director's cut versions of the scenes played first followed by the whole film(the cut version). so it really ended up lasting 2 hours but i still managed to fit it on 1 dvd-r with the commentary!
