  1. hi,
    i have recently got the cinema craft encoder lite 2.64 and the cinema craft encoder sp trial edition.
    i am probably missing something really stupid so please excuse me if i sound very foolish.
    when i attempt to open a avi file in cce, i get the message that thefile "is not an ecl for cce trial edition.
    can someone tell me what i am doing wrong.

    When you click file/open that is where you load the saved project files ie: you have already loaded a file and made changes to the settings and want to save it and come back later.

    To load an audio/video source you need to right click on the white box and select add and then find your avi file.

    This is covered in the CCE manual.

    thanks for the reply, i should have checjed the manual properly in the first place.
    how do i change the frame rate to a rate that cce accepts, as i get the message 20000/1000 frame rate not supported.
    sorry again ifi have wasted your time... forgive me i am very new.

  4. when I get that kind of error on a capture, I run it through virtual dub and under "frame rate" in the video tab I just change it to 29.97 and re-save. CCE opens it fine after that
