Well, if you can get the file transferred to your PC, then all you need (I think) is DirectX 8.1b or higher. It has a DV codec with it. If not can you render it down to mpeg? Sorry I don't do much with Mac's.
Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they?

You can do it in one of two ways:
    1. Convert it to PC format, and then transfer it to the PC
    -or-
    2. Transfer it to the PC, and then convert it to PC format

#2 Will only work if you have Quicktime Pro installed on the PC.
(Assuming the above posts that say that IMovie works w/ raw DV streams or DV-codec'd Quicktime files)

To do it the 2nd way, copy the files (adding the appropriate extension ".dv", or ".dif", or ".mov") to the PC. Then open the file with Quicktime Pro player and export to an AVI file with an appropriate and hopefully high quality codec-probably will be using uncompressed. READ-HUGE files! Then use them for encoding, or however else you were expecting to use them. This allows you to keep high quality, but have (relatively) smaller sizes when transferring to a PC.

Using the 1st method, Export from IMovie. (Don't know this part, since I don't use IMovie). There should be a Quicktime Export of some sort. If there isn't an option for AVI format, Export as a DV-QT file (no recompression). Then open with QTPro player (I DO really know this part) and export as an AVI with either uncompressed -Intel RAW- or RadiusDV or Microsoft RLE codecs. Make sure file is named with *.avi extension. Then copy to PC.

You could try doing something else without QTPro, but then you'll need something like the Advanced DV file converter , which should take care of your needs, but it's not free. Well, neither is QTPro.

    HTH,

    Scott
