  2. Dont know of any tool but if you're lucky enough to have two PCs with sound cards then use the line-out or headphone jack (laptop) from one PC to line-in on the other and a suitable sound editor which records/edits WAV files. Results can be quite good.

  3. There was a program out a while back called "StreamRipper". This app can be used to rip streaming MP3s and will even cut individual files for each song. This app is good for streaming like "Spinner" and other such online radios.

    There are programs out there that can rip any audio you play through your computer. Here are a few I know of:

    AudioGrabber (A++)
    LoopRecorder (B)

    I believe both of the above mentioned apps are Shareware but you may be able to get a Freeware app. Check out Download.com

    With audio "grabbers" such as those listed above, you will need a full-duplex sound-card and make sure you have WAV Recording setup. These apps just record any and all audio playing through your sound-card. I have had great results with AudioGrabber in ripping RealAudio and streaming Windows Media Files.

    Good Luck!
