    Hi,
I want to cut a 2Gb mpeg movie to several 700MB disks, and I'm now searching a program that cuts by filesize and not by frames like TmpegEnc. Knows somebody help?
    thx

bbmpeg lets you set a "max file size", as well as start/end times.

bbmpeg crashes after a while. Don't know why, it justs exits without giving an error message. vcdcutter looks nice but only cuts into parts of 1,05 and 1,20 MB (first and second part when selecting "divide into 2 parts") I did not find any setting to correct this... Does anybody know help?

I too have the same problem with BBmpeg. In XP it crashes.

Since I have a dual-boot system, I tried it under Win98Se and it worked fine.

Anyone have any clues about BBmpeg running under XP. I downloaded the XP dll and it still crashes.

  6. Yeah, there's a bug with bbmpeg. When you first start it, click load under "Input Project" and then press cancel. It shouldn't crash then.
