  1. Hi everyone...

I'm a newbie...and i'd like to say that this is a great site. Here are my questions.

I have a big project i want to do. I am a big fan of star trek. I plan to put all TNG episodes on vcds that i can watch on my DVD player that can read VCDs ans SVCDs.

I noticed that i can download the episodes with Kazaa or I-mesh. But most files are .avi with a resolution of 320x240.

I've read a lot of the articles and tips on this site. But i'd like you to tell me what would be the best method to put them on vcds and obtain the best quality possible.

I'll take all advices you can give...thanks

Oh man, STNG (*drools*). Anyway, you first make sure you have the Nimo Codecs installed if you using DivX (see Tools). Once you dowload the files, scan them all for junk frames.

If they are okay, frameserve them to TMPGEnc. Before selecting Start, you must load the right template for (S)VCDs. You can also tweak the download with this guide. Press Start. The resultant should be ready for your (S)VCD burn.
    Hello.
