When I download a VCD I use VirtualDub and compress the audio to 44100, then convert everything to VCD with tmpge. The sound still is off a little near the end of the video. What can I do to prevent this besides the steps listed.

Using Virtual Dub, select Options-->Sync(sic) to Audio. and try again.

if you need to change the audio to 44100, then if it's already mpeg, just demux w/tmpg, change the audio, and remux
if it's actually an avi file you've downloaded, then that's a different story...what are you askin' me for...

I would not burn a downloaded VCD unless I knew exactly how it was formatted. I do not need any more coasters right now, so I burn what I know will my specifications.
