Capture Card and Modem Problem.......

When I am connected to the internet (using a 56k dial-up Smartlink Modem) everything works great, but when I use my TV Capture Card at the same time the modem stops working.

I have taken the Modem out of the machine and reinstalled it and also done the same to the Capture Card.

My Capture Card is a PCTV Rave with software v4.02.

Can anyone please help as I enjoy taking screen captures from Satellite TV and this is annoying that I can`t be online at the same time.

Any help would be very, very much appreciated.

Have u looked to see if they are sharing the same IRQ???
Try moving the capture card to another slot. That often helps all sorts of problems.

I have modem and Terratec capture card on the samo interrupt but it works with no problem.

So, try first Fozzee's advice and if that doesn't work try to install new drivers for both.
