    I converted the video that dv2avi outputs (.dv2 file) to a VBR mpeg-2 stream. Usually I do both the audio and video that DV2AVI exports together but.. I didn't this time.

    Anyhow, trying to mulitplex them after the fact now, Tmgenc complains that the .wav that DV2AVI exported is and illegal mpeg audio stream.

    Do i need to convert this to mp3? or just mpeg audio?

    See if you can load the audio into Gold Wave, then save it and try again.
