svcd screen resolutions for dvdr

i have a number of svcd's that i am trying to convert to dvdr. Using the help files on this forum regarding dvd patcher i can put a svcd on dvdr that has screen resolutions of 480x480 and 480x576. however some of the svcds have resoultions of 640x336 576x240 672x368 or 720x288(is this the widescreen versions?). How do i go about putting these on dvdr's?. Changing the resoultion in dvd patcher results in the picture being unwatchable. I have managed to sort some out by putting them in tmpge and converting to mpeg1 352x288 which gives a watchable end result but is there an easier way using dvdpatcher?

aren't those divxs? svcd can ONLY be 480x480 and 480x576. You must reencode them to standard dvd resolutions www.vcdhelp.com/dvd#tech
