  1. I need some help here. Im using the DVD2AVI method to backup my DVD and convert it to VCD (The Mummy). I did the D2v file on DVD2AVI but TMPGEnc tells me the format is not recognizable (the d2v that is). I installed the VFAPI plug in for TMPGEnc. But it doesn't seem to work anyway.

    SOMEBODY HEELLPPPP!!!!!

  2. you gotta run the dvd2avi.vfp file in both directories of dvd2avi.exe and tmpg.exe, that should fix it

  4. I own a Sigmadesigns dvr. And my problem is with MPEG2 files. If I recored them into a MPEG file or a elemantary file TMPGEnc comes back with a error"cannot acess file or file not supported". Did anyone ever see this problem before? Meg1 files into TMPGEnc seems to work ok but the card does't do a good MPEG1 capture.

gf: please post a new topic instead...and not in this dvd ripping forum

moneyman13: I dont have the dvd2avi.vfp in both directories and it has always worked. But I can add it to problems sections to sefys dvd2avi guide.

  7. Final chime in before the thread gets closed.. Check and see if all the VOBs are there, which are listed in the .D2V file, if not TMPGEnc cant load the .D2V file.. I know, found out the hard way... Dont know, but maybe your problem is there?
