Just a suggestion to the moderators, why don't you guys add a colum for 90\99 minute cd's to DVD compatibility area? Also, I think you should have another colum for the ability of you DVD player to handle VCD's in PAL or NTSC format.

Maverik - You can't. Hence the invention/evolution of 90/99 min CD-R's!

Sony do a 99 minute CD 1.3 gig
But you can only read 92 minutes MAX on a normal playerHE who dares, wins!! -
90/99 min CDs are based on standard Orange Book specs except that they have a tighter spiral. Hence, you can make ANY type of CD (including audio, CD-ROM, VCD, etc.) on these discs.
90 min CDs work reasonably well in most drives.
99 min CDs are really quite off spec so playback support is poorer.
1.3/4 Gb CD-Rs really have no right to call themselves CDs. Apart from looking like one, they can neither be read or written to except on special drives.

I've found some good 99min/900Mb CDRs made by a company called Infiniti, though I think another brand is made by Intenso. Be careful when buying because some suppliers try to charge you double for the novelty of 99min CDs!
Try www.lordofthedeals.co.uk
And no, I don't work for them.
