I'm personally not a big fan of RCA, but must admit their new DRS7000N DVD / Hard Disk Recorder looks interesting: (Best of all, PVR functionality is FREE...ie. no monthly charge!)

yeah for a little more $$ you can get the Panasonic Hard disk recorder and it has also a DVD recorder built in it so you can also record your material, the RCA does not do this.
