newbie here...
I havent posted before as I like to try thing myself
I have read numerous tutorials and tried a few programs etc etc

my question is....
I have been using DVDX to copy from DVD to VCD
DVDx to MPEG (splitting custom chapters)
VCD easy to disc (adding chapters)

I have been happy with this and have around 25 new titles in my collection

recently I noticed some movies encode better then others

which codec should I use to ensure better quality (if one is available)
for the video

I am happy with sound
so no help required there

should I use another program.???

any info would be grateful
