Ok, I have this movie in SVCD format 29.97fps and the movie size is not in 480x480, it's 352x something.
The weird thing is it plays find on my rca rc5240p but not on my pioneer dv-343. The SVCD can't even play on my computer. (I played other SVCD fine and all my codec are installed.)
Therefore, I guessed it's the movie size that created problems. I used DVD2AVI to frameserved to TMPGEnc for recoding. http://www.vcdhelp.com/mpeg2tovcd.htm
My problem is that when I recoded the mpeg2 file, there are blocks all over the screen at scene change, no where else.(remember is plays fine on my rca dvdplayer)
Thanks for the replies.
p.s. I want to do this because I like to watch it on my Pioneer too.[/b]
